- Patient Transport Information: Non-emergency medical transport details required for job completion, including patient names and appointment information provided by your employer
- Signature Data: Digital signatures captured during trip completion (facility, provider, patient, and driver signatures)
- Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and app version for troubleshooting
- Usage Data: App interactions, button presses, and feature usage for improving the platform
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- Providing real-time dispatch and scheduling services to NEMT providers
- Tracking trip status and updating dispatch coordinators
- Verifying trip completion through digital signatures
- Sending push notifications for new trip assignments, cancellations, and dispatches
- Improving app performance and fixing technical issues
- Complying with legal obligations and broker requirements (e.g., Modivcare)
3. Location Data
The RydeWizz driver app requests access to your device's location services. Location data is used exclusively for:
- Recording GPS coordinates at pickup and drop-off events
- Providing dispatch coordinators with real-time driver location during active trips
- Verifying trip accuracy for billing and compliance purposes
Location tracking is only active while the app is open and in use. We do not track your location in the background when the app is closed.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data in the following limited circumstances:
- Your Employer / NEMT Provider: Trip data, signatures, and status updates are shared with the dispatching company you work for
- Broker Integrations: Trip status events (en route, on scene, drop-off) may be transmitted to medical transportation brokers such as Modivcare as required by your employer's contracts
- Service Providers: We use Firebase (Google) for real-time data synchronization and push notifications
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety of users
5. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on secure servers. We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption for all data transmission, access controls, and regular security reviews. Signature images and trip records are retained as required by your employer and applicable regulations.
6. Push Notifications
The app uses push notifications to alert drivers of new trip assignments, trip removals, and dispatch events. You can disable push notifications at any time through your device's settings, though this may affect the app's core functionality.
7. Children's Privacy
The RydeWizz driver app is intended for use by professional drivers and NEMT staff aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Request access to the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Opt out of non-essential communications
